What she needed was an extra hand. So with her background in mechanical engineering, she conceptualized a changing table with a built-in diaper dispenser and fastener strips to hold the diaper flat. She built the first prototype out of cardboard and used it for over 6 months. She found it to be indispensable and the Ubi changing table was born.
